You bedroom will become your garage if you start producing something in your bedroom.
So don't even look at such things like lasers or 3d printers for home.
"Home" in this case can be translated as "Office". This gadgets may be silent and cheap but 3d printers make some noise when it works and they need hours to create a good model ( i write it in 2023 ).
But if you will use it in garage you will use it the right way!
For example you can have 2 laser engravers with different working field: 1st is cutting the plywood, 2nd is engraving the material from 1st gadget.
And even if it is the most silent engravers it will produce much smoke. So thing about consequences.
